Sega Is Aware Of Demand of Sonic Origins Physical Release

Sega of America's social media manager, Katie Chrzanowski, has touched on this once again in the latest Sonic Official YouTube livestream - reiterating how a physical release currently isn't planned right now.
The good news is the team (we guess that's Sega) is "aware" of the demand for a physical version. Fingers crossed.
"There isn't one planned at the moment, I have seen a lot of comments asking for one, so the team has been made aware of that, there is a want for a physical release."

‘Sonic Adventure’ Band Crush 40 Could Soundtrack Third Sonic Movie

We recently caught up with Crush 40 to talk all things Sonic, and it turns out that the duo are 100 percent down to soundtrack a third Sonic film should the opportunity present itself.
“Absolutely one million percent yes. I reached out to them, we had some conversations,” Gioeli told us. “I’m gonna be ready for that, I’ll just put it to you that way. We want to write a bunch of songs, but of course we still have our nostalgic stuff. This means we want to write a bunch of songs, of course we have our nostalgic stuff but we also want to bring some fresh new stuff, should that happen for Sonic 3.”

Sonic Prime's Mack gets to be the character he looked up to as a kid.

In Mack’s tweet about his take on the Blue Blur, he shares his own personal history with the character: “Ironically, I’m actually much more of a Tails personality.”
This is why, as a kid, he gravitated so much toward Sonic, as that kind of character was someone he looked up to.

Sonic the Hedgehog Will Appear at Summer Sonic 2022 Music Festival

The Tokyo venue will have the appearance of Sonic the Hedgehog on the aptly named Sonic Stage.
On the first day of August 20, 2022, it will feature St. Vincent, Kacey Musgraves, Vaundy, Awesome City Club, Squid, and Chai. The second day will have Carly Rae Jepsen, CL, Endrecheri, Queen Bee, Griff, Chanmina, and Salem Ilese on the same stage.

DNEG Delivers Mushrooming VFX on ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’

Being able to convey scale was a major challenge in a world populated by 30-foot mushrooms. 
“As human beings we see little mushrooms, so it was difficult to given them depth,” Ghosh Dastider says.
“If a mushroom was really 30 foot tall, the problem is the texture detail and having something that you can relate to such as moss or soil.  You add scratches or colorization until it feels right.” 
Atmospherics were also incorporated into the imagery.

Tails' Greatest Invention Should Fail So Eggman's Daughter Can Grow

Dr. Eggman has released a beacon that forces his creations to rendezvous to a mysterious city as he assembles a massive army for a future invasion.
In addition to causing Belle to lose her free will and head for Eggman's metropolis, the wave makes her attack Sonic and Tails.
While Sonic tries to keep her occupied, Tails modifies an earlier invention he made against the villainous group the Deadly Six that blocks Eggman's waves and restores Belle's freewill.
What Tails first says to Belle after forcibly installing his genius repurposed prototype could serve as an ominous foreshadowing for what could happen to her: "Are you...sure you're okay?"
