Sonic Frontiers' first major update is nearing completion

This is gonna be interesting... but given it will just be a jukebox, selfies and new challenges I don't think it warrants me starting over.

Maybe if Update 3 inclusdes "Extended mode" where more story and challenge is added to the games main story. Such as additional story events or a proper boss fight with The End.

Eagle-eyed viewers may have caught references to Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog films, as well!
In the commercial, Mario and Luigi's work van can be seen driving across a map starting from Brooklyn. As they drive, several locations can be seen, including "Red Hill" and "Mushroom Planet."
Mushroom Planet is a clear reference to the planet Dr. Robotnik is stranded on at the end of the first Sonic the Hedgehog, while Red Hill would seem to be a Mario reference to Sonic's home in Green Hills.

To quote the article... "We see Mario and Luigi driving a ‘Super Mario Bros. Plumbing’ van across Brooklyn, and upon closer inspection, you’ll see ‘Mushroom Planet’ as well as ‘Red Hill’ signs along the way, hinting at a possible Sonic the Hedgehog appearance in the upcoming film."

I dunno, kind of a stretch. I mean, I know there is a Sonic 3 stage called "Mushroom Hill Zone" but when it comes to video game mascots and mushrooms, people often think Super Mario and Mushroom Kingdom.
As for "Red Hills", I mean yeah, "Hills" but same can be said for anywhere called hills.
