I dunno, kind of a stretch. I mean, I know there is a Sonic 3 stage called "Mushroom Hill Zone" but when it comes to video game mascots and mushrooms, people often think Super Mario and Mushroom Kingdom.
As for "Red Hills", I mean yeah, "Hills" but same can be said for anywhere called hills.

Sonic Frontiers is still in the U.S. top 20 best selling titles

Despite a November 2022 launch, Sonic Frontiers stuck around in the U.S. top 20 best selling titles going into 2023.
According to regional numbers from @npdgroup, the open-zone game finished 12th in January following last month's ranking at 6th, and a 4th debut.

And off the off-chance he did, he'll likely be a different version of the movie Sonic we're familiar with.

Yep, they're too different, Paramount Sonic is in a real human world while this all human in this Mario movie are animated ones.

2023 Sonic Asia Community Roadmap!

In 2022 we had an awesome year! "Sonic The Movie" had its global appearance on the big screen and fun filled titles "Sonic Origins" and "Sonic Frontiers" brought fans a wide range of Sonic content 🙂

This year we plan to carry even more Sonic content under our 2023 theme "Any Time and Any Place, Together with Sonic!". Under this slogan, we wish to go beyond games and goods so that fans of our blue bur can enjoy Sonic wherever they are.

To achieve this both Sonic Team and the Community Team will aim to broaden our horizons along with the Sonic community! We hope that you will join us in our journey into the future and continue to support Sonic!

Sonic X: The Complete Series (Japanese Language Collection) is up to pre-order!

The subbed version of the classic Sonic anime is one fans have wanted for years.
It has everything, from getting zapped to Earth, adapting Sonic Adventure, Metarex, & more!

The show is still in SD, but there was extensive remastering for the best video presentation possible.
It included matching many sources, cleaning up video problems, & tons more.
The first half of the show had native 5.1 made for DVD in Japan, those tracks are included as well.
