Don't worry, as long as the game was made in Japan, it most likely be Amy.
Even if it wasn't Amy,it's still most likely a female characters.
Unlike Sony, SEGA and Atlus rarely listened to westerner SJWs.
They still got attacked though, this one is the recent :

Arguing with SJW is like Sisyphus and his rock.
But my beef id mostly how "political correctness" is taking into account woke-ideals and how it's ruining entertainment.
I really don't mind if a fictional character is gay, a woman in a masculine-job or role, or both! But ever since "woke-movement" I feel such characters are more shoehorned into entertainment. Which honestly isn't entirely a bad thing if those characters are still relevant to the story and can be interesting and beloved characters in their own right.
But if it leads to some political woke moral of the story then that just degrades such characters as no more than "token characters", characters just their for demographic reasons.
All in all, we Brits once had quality, funny comedy shows such as Little Britain or League of Gentlemen. While BBC still have such shows available for viewing, not without "Warnings" at the start of them because of how embarrassed they were of these shows for having men in women clothing for humour or not enough coloured people.
I'm just tired how comedy and entertainment is so neutered of late and don't want that happening to Sonic. If they really want to introduce a trans character, retcon Charmy Bee as one, it makes sense if you think about it.
