It does remind me of when I used to play SA2B versus mode with my friend... Other than Sonic 2, 3&K and 4, most Sonic games weren't that co-operative.

As long as it's kept well and not scrapped down and forgotten, or given to some random obscure fan to be forgotten about. Like what happened to the original Sonic X-treme beta demo that was sold on eBay and the buyer just dissolved into obscurity along with it.

Well, different circumstance. The trophy was given in a big celebration event while the beta demo's probably was kept by a staff whos very dissapointed that his hard work never came into fruition so he decided to sell and made money of it which then sadly it wasn't met with the right person to have it.
