A classic mode could work. I recall the Crash and Spyro remakes had optional modes for infinite lives or not.
And which one you usually choose?
NOT ENOUGH RINGS TAILS!
Time to enter the unlimited rings code!
It probably explains why Sonic Superstars is rather pricey for a side-scroller, to make up for loss profit a Sonic Frontiers expansion could offer if they put a price tag on it.
Or may be it's because most of the works for Superstars were developed by third party company (Arzest) ?
They have to split the profits for them too.
With the way Unity is going, I may have to jump ship for that in favour of its competitor, Unreal Engine 5.
Many Unity developers are upset in giving up years of Unity experience... I am somewhat fortunate, given I've been so damn lazy to get into Unity to begin with. So I'm not at aloss but never really gained anything to begin with.
Still the Unity projects I barely cobbled together could likely easily be remade in Unreal or even GoDot which I might duel-wield both than favour one or the other.
Blessings in disguise, I guess.
Eeeh depends. If it was a PSO2 Sonic-themed event that put much more effort in its last events, then sure, I'll get back onto PSO2 for it. But if it's a spin-off separate game then... well, maybe I guess. For Sonic, not for PSO2.
Rappy + Sonic at 2024 Olympic Games probably ... if they lose the Mario license.
