Yes, but we haven't decided on the timeline when they met. The current Flash may be is OP but Sonic could meet young Flash where he still learns about his power.
I figure it would just be some generic current setting, like what TMNT and Batman did.
It's said that it's locked behind Netflix's subscription service (or Apple Arcade, one of those) so I don't expect much from this.
You'd think they learn by now?
I guess it's official. Sega have become corrupted by Rovio's business practices.
It's fine the way it is but it isn't playable on Switch, PS4, and PS5.
Also it's not a sequel, just a Remastered version plus new story expansion with Shadow since ... yeah, this game is aimed to hype Shadow in order to promote Sonic Movie 3 which has Shadow in it.
Well, I was wrong about SXSG, I might as well press my luck and voice my concern over how it will be marketed on Steam.
If the game will not be released as a full-price game, say £20-40, then yeah. I would buy it if it was around that price.
But if they're going to give it a full price, say £40-60, then I hope on Steam it will be sold as a cheaper DLC for Sonic Generations. Or the very least offer a 15% discount to customers who already got Sonic Generations.
For current consoles like XBox One, X/S, PS4 and 5 and Switch, I understand why the game will be marketed as a whole given these consoles don't have the original game. But why should Steam gamers have to pay for the same content twice?
I will only find it excusable if giving the existing stages a glow-up and Shadow's "two experience" were not the only thing the game will offer.
If the story is rewritten to accommodate "Dreamcast Sonic" as a tritagonist playable character and each of the nine zones getting a third "Dreamcast Act", then I would say that's worth re-buying Sonic Generations over.
