Xbox backwards compatibility update brings new SEGA games and Sonic FPS boost

Xbox has made a major update to the long thought to be dead backwards compatibility program, with 76 new games added and FPS boost for new and existing games.
Several Sonic titles, as well as the aforementioned Binary Domain, will see a framerate boost via the FPS Boost feature.

SEGA trademarks “Sonic Frontiers”,
possible name for 2022 game



Via Renka_schedule on Twitter comes news that SEGA has trademarked “SONIC FRONTIERS” as well as the Japanese name “ソニック フロンティア” (translated to “SONIC FRONTIER”). 
It is likely that this will be the name of the upcoming 3D Sonic game set for a 2022 release date. SEGA ga....

Book review: The SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Encyclopedia

Former CVG and Official Nintendo Magazine scribe Chris Scullion turns to the dark side for his third exhaustive unofficial encyclopedia, taking us on a tour of not just the entire western SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis catalogue, but the Mega CD and 32X as well.
As someone more than familiar with the Mega Drive library, it was a delight to find it peppered with tidbits of knowledge, such as SEGA Sports’ NFL 97 heading to Saturn and skipping the Genesis, only to return to the 16-bit console the following year.
When it comes to the sports games, in particular, it’s clear Scullion went out of his way to make each entry a worthwhile read – a task far harder than it may sound.

Yeah but given it some time to accept, I think  Iwill like this comic. It's not written and or made by Ken Penders, simply permitted by him... while he get's paid money for the character he stole. As someone who enjoyed Scourge, I might enjoy this comic.

The Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration might be kicking off later this month for everyone on the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter Rise, but it's also coming to the PC version of Capcom's game.

When Monster Hunter Rise debuts on PC on January 12, 2022, the Sonic collaboration event will be there as a day one addition to the already-massive game.

I have tried the franchises on 3DS before.
It's definitely inspired by the original Phantasy Star Online.
The difference that it could take hours just to kill one monster.
