There's an unfortunate bit of drama brewing around Cyber Mission:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pscd-games/cyber-mission
Note that purportedly Game Energy (the company in question) is running the kickstarter, not PSCD.
It's a shame but PSCD should've learned the lesson since this isn't the first time they have problems in the kickstarter.
They have a
problem too before in
Hunter Girls kickstarter with
Meridian 4.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KtNldRTPNMPSCD Games : "Hi all. Dear bakers who supported the Hunter Girls project. To raise funds for this project, we worked with the Meridian 4 campaign from Canada.
Our team has invested money and effort into developing this project and the port for the Super Nintendo. But unfortunately, for some reason unknown to us, the head of the Meridian 4 campaign, Jeff Giasson, refused to pay us money when we prepared a batch of games for shipping. We also spent our money on producing cartridges. In total, we have currently invested about $10,000 in this project.
This is a lot of money for our team. But reputation comes first for us. Anyone who has worked or is working with the Meridian 4 team and their leader Jeff Giasson, be more attentive to signing any agreements with him and generally collaborating with this campaign.
We are ready to send all the games that we have printed. But I have one request for you, if it’s not difficult for you, everyone who pre-ordered this game, go to our website Pscdgames.com and order the game again as soon as the money is returned to your accounts. This way we can get at least some of the money back. My team and I understand that this looks very bad on our part and we hope that Meridian 4 will refund your money for your copies of the game. If this does not happen, write to us. We are very sorry about what happened.
Thank you for supporting us, we would hate to lose all the fans of our team, of which we don’t have very many. Plus, for all of us on the team this is a serious reputational blow.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have our own account on Kickstarter, which is why we have to use the services of intermediaries, and if in the case of collaboration with DragonBox Shop everything went fine, then this time we were out of luck.
We have plans to redeploy our team to Europe, but we wanted to do it with money from this kickstarter campaign.
Unfortunately, I have nothing more to add, all I ask is maximum repost. I won’t encourage you to do anything, it’s not worth it. We continue to work on a large number of projects for you and your support is always pleasant and motivates us greatly. Thank you for staying with us. You can write to me in a personal message, I will answer everyone without exception."

"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."After Hunter Girls, they should've know better to pick more trusty partners like Mega Cat, Pixel Heart, or Broke Studio but here they are getting into trouble again.
Also that's not all. Before all of this they are also having trouble with
NAPE Games to finish
Reknum (SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive).
Nape Games : Initially during the kickstarter campaign we were contacted from PSCD GAMES to offer additional versions for our games.
We agreed that we would pay them 50% of the profits focused on Mega Drive/Genesis because we used the other 50% to pay taxes and kickstarter commissions from it. We did not receive real financing for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive project, we only wanted to expand the adventures of the protagonist. This entire agreement has been signed and the documentation is maintained.
When we finished the campaign, the first thing we did was make the payment to them, there was a lot of pressure on their part and we only asked them to wait for the platform's regulatory times to be able to make the transfer.
2021
Once the development of the game for PC/Switch and NES began, it is true that during the 1st year of development we gave them little material because they insisted on making a "demake" of the game for switch, since it was in development we could not deliver 100 % of the project. As time went by for the game to become a hand-drawn HD version, they were forced to wait longer.
We made the proposal to make a "demake" of Reknum Cheri Dreamland, which was born as an extra game in this campaign, which they insisted with a NO, they want the main game because they want it to be the game that generates the most sales.
2022
We told them that they had to wait a little longer, that's when the proposal came out to give them the freedom to make a Spinoff game, so that they could advance without waiting for us to finish development.
In the following year we began to ask for previews to show you how the game is going, but during all this time the only thing they have given us has been what we have shown here. They have only made partial animations of the protagonist, 1 tileset and a pair of extra animations with the promise of a demo that was reportedly ready and was never delivered.
We were patient with them due to the war conditions between Russia and Ukraine, we even told them that we didn't want anything from the game, we just want our backers to receive it.
2023
We have exerted pressure for the supposed demo that they should have, for previews of the game, etc. Little was delivered and EVERYTHING was shown here. Then near end of year they sent us this message.
Our response was, we cannot carry out an extra campaign for a game that has already had its campaign. You have to deliver what was promised or make a refund. We cannot continue with this situation and at the beginning of 2024 we will announce the changes with this version of the game.
They insisted that they could do the campaign on their own, then they messaged us asking for help for advertise their (unsuccessful) kickstarter campaign for the Alien Cat 2 game, because they were going to use a portion of that funds to continue developing the game. All this does not seem fair to all of you and we decided to take action with the development of the game.
2024
This is the final round of the project and we have taken the reins to move it forward. Since the only thing left pending is the graphical compression of the main game so that Dolores Ent. can continue working on the port, so we can focus on this part.

Oruam : "PSCD never send us any money from sales of our game Fight for Vengeance and also gives illegally it for free download.
Take care Mister Oscar."

https://x.com/Oruam_shinobi/status/1500869691832741888I forgot what the main problem was but I remember PSCD Games said they found graphical glitches in the game and asked Oruam team to fix it but they refused so PSCD had to spend time to fix it by themselves and decided not to work with them anymore and give away the rom for free to download without the permission of the original creators (Oruam - main programmer, Mauro_R_Flores - code work, Master Linkuei - music, and Henrique Lazaro - arts).
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thankfully their other games (Foxy Land, Bone Marrow Rebirth, Debtor - they aren't in Kickstarter though) have no problems like these and hopefully they have no problems too in the future.
