According to SteamDB, the all-tiome peak for Persona 5 Royal on Steam during its first week was 35, 474. This surpasses Persona 4 Golden‘s Steam release peak of 29,984.

UK Sales
According to European sales tracker GfK, Persona 5 Royal ranked 6th in terms of physical sales during its first week in the United Kingdom, with the Nintendo Switch representing 79% of the sales, PlayStation 5 with 17%, and the Xbox Series X|S with 4%.

SEGA Announces Financial Results With Sales Growth YoY & Profit Decline;
Project Sekai / Hatsune Miku : Colorful Stage, PSO2 NGS, and Net Mahjong MJ are still Top F2P Sellers

We learn that sales for the whole company were 150 billion yen, up year-on-year, while operating income was 9.5 billion yen, down year-on-year.
Looking at the Entertainment Contents Business, which includes games, sales were 116.6 billion yen, up year-on-year, while operating income was 13.8 billion yen, down year-on-year.
It’s worth mentioning that Sega still predicts growth in both sales and operating income for the full fiscal year.

Sonic Frontiers did end up selling the most between multiplatform releases, notching a cumulative sale of 46,276 units sold between the 3 SKUs.
This is the best sales the Sonic franchise has received in over a decade in a country that tends to treat the brand as a niche release.
In fact it was not until the Adventure games, upto Sonic Heroes, that the series ever managed to break past 100,000 life time sales (Excluding the Mario & Sonic games) so the result will be a fantastic one for SEGA.
