Ahh.. So they were fun, I didn't know that since my kid seems not too motivated enough to finish the task.
I do like Rouge/Knuckles' Treasure Hunting level in SA2 but we only need to find 3.
I imagined it's kinda tiring if we have to find 30 but I guess they were different.
It was fun because it encouraged exploration and interactivity which are good concepts for objectives.
Having to collect 150,000 uncut diamonds that were more common that rings, that's just boring.

Let me pick apart this events here... The concept of candy used as a second currency, that is a decent idea.
But this event consist of fighting boos that are scattered about Green Hill.
Now you may think it's a cool idea fighting ghosts but the problem is... these ghosts don't move or fight back. They just stay in place and don't even hurt you when touched.
I've played amateur Roblox experience where there's enemy NPCs with basic AI to freely move about in certain areas and chase after players when they get into certain range so why couldn't they do something as basic as this for badniks and boos in Speed Simulator?
The fact they're just waiting there to be disposed of make the event feel less like fighting an invasion and more like a chore comparable to cleaning your bedroom. And if this is marketed for kids, should they feel like it be a chore?
