Anyway, back on topic, I was very dissapointed by that MD Play portable Genesis console, I went to Mediamarkt this afternoon and they had one of those on display for people to try it out.
And boy, did it suck badly, I learned that this was manufactured by a chinese company called AtGames which had an agreement with Sega on this, but actually trying it, the whole thing just feels off, first the games, the sound is off, the music is either too speed up or two slow downed, the Sonic & Knuckles rom was the worst, the mushroom hill stage sounded slow as heck and the ring sounds were completely different. And Golden Axe also sounded off, when hooked onto a LCD TV, it actually looks pretty bad. The Mega Drive Ultimate Collection is a GodSend compared to this.
I didn't test the ROM features for obvious reasons, but as it is I don't think it's worth the 50€ price tag.
Also, my VGA HD cable just arrived from Hong Kong and either it's damaged or it's just the way it is, because the image is horrible, either way, I hope they give me a refund or ship me one that's working properly.
