Although the football team that is closest to me is in the Non-League and likely not exist by the end of September...and City fans seem to hate on them just because they get beat by them in every friendly, which is pretty petty of City fans.
Regarding things, you do get dickhead City fans also...as I've experienced for nudging a guy once and apologised and got a "Prick" in response, a role model to his kid I say....

My handle was IpsoFacto, I had a Bane avatar. I commented on a topic called "LOL Republicans" and I decided to reply to a poster there that I felt was gettin' on my nerves. Then I replied back with "Sorry, if the truth hurts..."
And about 3 minutes later, I get a notification saying that I was banned till September, because the admins thought that my follow-up comment was "clearly" an attempt to troll.
I ain't even mad, bro.
So you were banned for making a small comment to someone who was bugging you? Wow...why is Gaf so serious about almost everything?
That thread in particular is known for getting members banned too.
I really see no point in posting on NeoGaf, unless you have the same opinion as everyone else or you stand out for being "unique", getting banned seems to be an easy indicator of you being different to every other member on there, or in your case defend yourself from someone's annoying posts.
