I watched a couple of WWII movies this weekend.


Bridge on the River Kwai: Brilliant movie, been wanting to see it since I read the book. Alec Guinness did an amazing job with his role, beautifully shot and such a great premise that shows the madness of war and the bizarre misguided loyalty.


Fury: Pretty Gud, got too hollywood-y towards the end for my liking, but otherwise a very well made movie, very intense. The scene around the dinner table in the occupied German town was my favourite.

If you want a good cross section of films to watch from all angles of WW2 I highly recommend these films in this order. I think it gives a good indication of how far reaching and terrible the war was and how many people in effected.

^I'm actually watching Downfall at the moment, it's bloody good so far.


I'm not usually into WW2 in particular, but this weekend just worked out that way. I haven't seen any of those other films, but have heard good things.

I loved Downfall, one of my favorite WWII movies to date. The guy that played Hitler was way intense.

Hooooooly Shiiiiiiit today is so fucking slow at work. Not that much to do, and everything I do get is incredibly boring or dry.


Still, much better than my last job in Aus. I want to get out of this office job lifestyle eventually though.


I'm going out for Ramen tonight at least, that'll be fun.

Do people ever use Soap Shoes when doing parkour stuff? It seems like a natural addition.

Haha, i spent $60 yesterday on some cosmetics for my wife.

Cosmetics are freaking expensive.
That being said, they make my girl's beauty stand out..no complaints there..

Today is a really tough day. I think I might need to take a day off this week. My head is just swimming.

Sitting at work and my wife texts me stating there's a chance she may be pregnant.. Not sure why it's freaking me out a bit. My daughter is 16 months old now, so it seems like a good time to have another one and close shop. Probably would've liked to have heard this news while at home, but what are you gonna do?
