Indeed, because it kills bacteria, though salt water is more gentle. In the past I've also used pms-benzydamine oral rinse. Looks just like Listerine, only it disinfects and numbs the mouth and throat. Though In recent years I've kept listerine as part of my daily dental care regimen. 

Warm salt water is great for inflamed gums too.

Got my permit. The countdown to days left riding the bus begins now. Although 3 months is a long time, it will go fast. Always does. Even if it seems like it won't.

Interesting..I happen to have a sore throat right now, I have a friend who says the listerine works and have tried it along with the salt water method and have had mixed results. I prefer cough drops.

Yeah the issue with Dark Souls is that you have to pace yourself, its not an ultra fast game. You have to literally think of every turn as your last turn and even the minor enemies can destroy you. You basically have to think like your fighting with your real soul.
