Why is Linkedin still a thing?

Why wouldn't it be? I think a lot of businesses still use it regularly to check people's work history etc.

I've been trying to get my 6 year old Niece into classic SEGA games recently, unsurprisingly Sonic has been a favourite. She was asking about the characters, what they're called, where they come from, why are all the animals in robots etc... She asked me if Sonic lives with his mum and dad... And I had told her I think he doesn't have a mum and dad. Later we came to a dreaded water level where she kept drowning, she told me she doesn't like these levels and I agreed water levels always suck.

'It would be better if Sonic could swim.' She said, I told her how they had always made a point that Sonic had never been able to swim. She thought for a moment and said, 'I know why he cant swim, he hasn't got a mum or dad to teach him.'

It's interesting the way children's minds work.

Archie Sonic filled that void in Sonic's life, though since the comic's reboot I think SEGA told Archie none of the SEGA characters could have relatives so characters like Uncle Chuck and Snively are still present but their relation to Sonic and Eggman have been removed. Chuck is "an uncle to all", lol

The grammar is hopeless, there is a distinct lack of punctuation, and last time I checked, all four of those named games came out well before 2000! That is ONE example of the complete and utter shambles you've made. You do realize competence is required to edit Wikipedia, right? Because you are perhaps one of the least competent editors I've come across. If you seriously think this standard of grammar and syntax is acceptable, then please exit to your right, and leave Wikipedia to people who are actually competent enough to edit.

I edited something on wikipedia and had it changed back with a note with like 800,000 characters telling me why I was wrong.

I stopped doing that at Wikipedia and hardly use it for information when it comes to SEGA.

I was on the SEGA Retro wiki earlier and i was editing the Nomad and SEGA Genesis Organizer pages because they constantly referred to the Mega Drive rather than the Genesis. While I get that the MD is the go-to name for the hardware, the original name, and the name of the main page - this does not mean a site wide use of Mega Drive works. For example, the Nomad page said the handheld was a portable Mega Drive and that it can play most Mega Drive games. Issue is, Nomad is US only and was marketed as a portable Genesis. Also it is not region free and only plays most Genesis games. If somebody changes it back, I'm sending them a DM.

I think SEGA retro needs a plugin that checks IP region and changes 'Mega Drive' to Genesis or they should post it as Genesis/Mega Drive.

Personally just wish they called the damn Mega Drive the Mega Drive here so we don't have to do this.
