What about forget to wear pants when going to school?

I rarely have those high school dreams... but when I do it's with the crush I had in school. 8) So not really bad dreams at all.

But seriously, homework nightmares are the worse school-related dreams because even when you awake you immediately worry about some hoework you forgot to do twenty-something years a go.

In real life, it's happened to me when I was in 2nd grade.
I forgot to do my homework and the teacher punished me to stand in front of the class for 15 minutes.
It was a traumatic experience, but I never forgot my homework again ever since. Not even once.
I guess the punishment was really effective, but I still hated remembering it.

Yeah but given it's an upsetting memory that will last you a lifetime then that means it's traumatic. Would you want your kids to have a similar experiance just for a teacvher to get a point across?

Actually yes if it meant they could do homework without being told to.
It's a valuable lesson of taking care of own responsibility afterall.

But surely the same lesson can be delivered without an upsetting memory.

Without an upsetting memory, we tend to forget the lesson is ... until it's too late.
That's why most superheroes in the movies tend to have a tragic background.

But we're not heroes.

I'm just saying that if I had a kid, I don't want him coming up upset over forogtten homework because the teacher humiliated them. Doesn't seem a moral way to educate, that's all.

If you got time to always check your kid's homework, that's good.
I had a friend that has to repeat the class because he rarely did his homewors and seems didn't mind being punished either.
His parents never checked his homework too and somehow didn't to give a damn that his son repeated a class.

I guess so. I'd just rather have children learn in a comfortable environment and not learn through trauma. But I guess enough about thart.

Never really liked how "food" worked in PSO2. Especialy in the café where you can summon any food you want onto the table but can't eat it.
