New Like A Dragon: Yakuza Trailer Reveals Who Plays Majima

Quote
Munetaka Aoki will play Majima in the Like a Dragon: Yakuza series, which is only fitting because he's also voicing the character in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The new trailer is very action heavy and doesn't really offer many story details. But it does provide a brief introduction to Majima as well as the other two leading characters, Kazuma Kiryu (Ryoma Takeuchi) and Akira Nishikiyama (Kento Kaku).
In the show's version of the story, Kiryu is a former Yakuza who is drawn back into the orbit of his former clan, as well as his childhood friend, Nishikiyama. The modern-day narrative will feature  ...

Yeah my only two core complaints over the first one were:
* It wasn't really on the streets and more in some sort of underground shopping district. It didn't feel like it was on the open streets that much.

Now we know why thet titled their project as "Rage" without the "Streets of".

* They were clearly pulling their punches. I mean, I know it's acting and they don't want anyone intentionally hurt, just I've seen kittens throw more convincing hits than some scenes in the first film.

It's still a little better than making the movie that just consists of talk and talk and talk with no action in it.
Some fan movies were like that.

That's why they were raging! They couldn't afford the streets!

It is. It's still a great fanfilm, they should just choreograph their fight scenes a bit better to look convincing. Not to assume they didn't choreograph, just the punches didn't loook as impactful.

Good thing they're not choosing Street Fighter as their project.
Otherwise, the movie title will became just "Fighter"!

I am absolutely GLAD they didn't choose Street Fighter.
Why?
Because there's already plenty Street Fighter fan-films on the internet already, all with fan-budget given how popular Street Fighter is already.

But because Streets of Rage has barely expanded from it's main series, a series that only fairly recently had an instalment, despite how popular Streets of Rage is, hardly anyone makes fan films around it. Especially around the quality of them Street Fighter fan-films.

That's understandable.
No matter how popular Streets of Rage was, Street Fighter was far more popular due to its arcade root and it's available almost on every consoles.

I know it was made for promotional reasons, still a peculiar choice of DLC.

Konami too? What Konami games got fan films more than Sonic?

Too bad it's locked behind digital deluxe edition 'cause I planeed to buy the game physically.

Mostly Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill fan films.

I brought the Digital Deluxe on Steam... but I found out I can't use my controller on original Sonic Generations anymore. I hope the problem won't carry over onto SXSG.
