The DC controller via USB adapter still works on PS3 after the third-party USB bricking update, but L & R and start don't work, so it is kind of fucked up.

Too bad Sega doesn't license the DC controller to some third-party to make a wireless version for ps3/360.

Jet Grind Radio is gonna suck with DS3.  I've played it with DS2 and the extra height of the analog sticks compared to the DC's really fucks things up and throws the timing of everything off and makes jumps more sensitive. Sucks.  Stuck with a DC, I guess.

Incidentally I played Sonic 4 with a Saturn pad and it feel a lot less clunky that way.

I think Crazy Taxi with a DualShock3 sounds pretty bad, too. @_@

I'm going to try it out for XBLA, see how the 360 pad stacks up. I kind of want that version anyway so that MadeMan and I can compare scores.

USB 'bricking' update just disabled USB devices from working when PS3 starts up, I don't understand everyone bringing it up like it was going to change controllers working. There was a rumor that they where going to only let 'license' devices work'. But its not true.

I played the game on the PS3 and it works fucking fine. Will be better on the 360 do to triggers.

Haha, I played this on Dreamcast a little while ago, I've gotten really damn rusty. Could barely get an A-Class when back in the day I was racking up like, $40,000 easily.

I'll need to get back into training if I get this game!

I've already got 3 versions of it (Dreamcast, Gamecube, PSP), so I'm a bit hesitant to pick it up again, even if it does have trophies.

Crazy Taxi on the PS2 with the DS2 was freaking horrible. Wonder if it's any better now..

Re: Crazy Taxi XBLA/PSN thread with G25

I am using the PS3 version of Crazy Taxi with a Logitech G25 Wheel. The wheel works fine to steer, but the pedals do not work and I can find no way of getting them to work. The buttons on the wheel work the accelerator and brake, but this makes the game unplayable. This should be a simple fix for the developers as the Logitech G25 is already correctly supported in games like Outrun 2 on the PS3 from the Playstation Network

There haven't been many videos:

Changed music really hurts the audio of the game, the menu music and selection tune are sorely missed. Still, looks like fun.

Holy cow, what an awful player. xD

The music in this video seems like mostly the same ol' punk stuff from before. Either way, it's for people with horrible tastes.

You have no room to say other people have bad taste.

The music sounds better than I expected. Does this game actually have widescreen? I mean if I remember correctly, sa DX did not right?

I remember there was one song that was marginally better than the rest:

http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/06/11/cr ... mooth-ride

It's still not great, but it is millions of times better than anything The Offspring and Bad Religion have ever done in their entire existences. Not to mention, it has a much better vocalist. ^^;;;

I've always been a big Offspring fan (The Kids Aren't Alright is one of my favourite songs of all time), and when I first played Crazy Taxi, that was one of the big factors for my enjoyment. It was like, "hey, there's this game that's full of music from The Offspring, and as an extra bonus, it's pretty fantastic to boot."

I finally got a chance to see them live last year, and Dexter did this really great version of Gone Away by himself on a piano.

@fluffymoochicken: Is it the vocals that you don't like? Or is it just not your type of music. Not trying to start a flamewar or anything. Just curious.
One of their songs that's pretty different from their usual stuff is "Spare Me The Details". Worth checking out. If you don't like it, that's cool though.

It's both, really. I like neither their vocals nor their brand of music. I also hate the fact that I had to hear their songs billions of times over when playing the game back when (I didn't have any way of playing some other music over it, and playing in silence was even worse). Really, gutting those bands out was the right decision, as they weren't worth paying up the money to keep. It also makes me happy to know that brand new players wouldn't ever have to suffer through either soundtrack if they didn't want to.
