Yeah but... I don't like I had to buy SXSG at full price when I already have Sonic Generations. I already got Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 for PC and if Sega were to delist them to make way for a collection, or upgrade them to the point that current mods break, there would be a lot of upset modders.

You don't have to buy SXSG at full price, later it would be a sale at 50% off sale where the price is exactly what you wanted to be. It's not a Nintendo game where they rarely have a discount.

Yes but only if could bring profits to Retro-Bit and the controller could be released at the same time with or before the game it has colab with released ... which it's kinda hard right now because the semiconductor industry is experiencing acute shortages of microcontrollers (MCUs) and power management ICs. Driven by the explosive demand for AI data centers and the automotive sector, major foundries are reallocating production lines from legacy/trailing-edge silicon to high-margin chips, pushing lead times beyond 50 weeks.
I'm sure SEGA would allow them if Retro-Bit had the initiative to ask SEGA for colab but just because a colab could be secured that doesn't guarantee a good sales number (especially if they could cancel the pre-orders when the controllers couldn't be released at promised date because of AI bubble). It's really a huge risk for Retro-Bit.

Hm, I guess so.

But still, not only is Retro-Bit's Sega Collab controllers are official licensed controllers by Sega, but it's thanks to Retro-Bit that Sega's fans are able to have iconic Sega controllers for PC gaming. Sega should at least give Retro-Bit more attention over it. Such as:

• Current Sega games that recognise and support PlaySega or Retro-Bit controllers. The very least ones styled after classic gameplay, or Sonic Rumble Party.
• Sega Shop actually selling their controllers (As well as the Sega Genesis Mini sold separately). While Retro-Bit has plenty or retailers and online shops, you'd think the Sega Shop be one of their primary market for Sega Collab controllers.

I believe him due to the fact that Argentina received multiple red cards during the final.

He told me that during their match against England, Argentina made a lot of fouls that the referee conveniently ignored while giving England a hard time. And that it turns out the ref was a friend of Lionel Messi, who Messi said was their lucky ref.

I've taken a break from the game. Not really as fun when:* No one else is as aggressive as you, thus I end up winning more often than I think I should.* Don't really have friends to play it with.

The gameplay is too different, if Virtua Strikers is like Sonic Dash then Football Manager is like Sonic Blitz.
In Virtua Strikers we played as the football players, truly an arcade-like game.
In Football Manager we played as their manager, where we do things like scoutting players and managing player happiness, egos, and team morale.
We also do the financial management where we keep the club within wage budgets and ensuring financial compliance.
We don't even play football directly but we're responsible to bring our football club to its success.



Football Manager is actually the direct successor to the highly popular Championship Manager series that's started in 1992.



But before that, long long ago there are also Football Manager series that's started in, welp, 1982.



Kinda confusing I know but in short: The Football Manager name was acquired by Sports Interactive and SEGA as a continuation for their Championship Manager series after they lost the naming rights following Sports Interactive's split with their previous publishers Eidos Interactive.
So now the game has Football Manager name but with Championship Manager gameplay.

I see, so it's actually been around for a long while. And plays more like a Fantasy Football game.

So... why did Sega retire the Virtua Striker series? Not like football ever fallen out of interest. Especially during FIFA.

If I remember correctly I've read that BBC bragged that they fundamentally shaped modern British culture, especially in standardizing the English language and creating a shared sense of national time.

They did. The BBC holds specific statutory powers to collect and enforce the television licence fee, but it does not have general police or state authority. So while BBC have enforcement officers to prosecute those who watch live TV illegally in UK, they are not police officers, so you may deny them entry to your home.

As for using the internet to watch whatever shows on YouTube, that's fine. And watching TV shows on "Free movie and TV" sites such as 7Reels or SeeFlix, those sites are legal grey-areas, especially given they're not "live" television.

Will it though? I noticed every few years, there is some sort of new major international scare. Foot and Mouth Disease, Bird Flu, Millennium Bug, Mayan Apocalypse, COVID 19, the kind of crisis that make people question if things will ever be the same again. And once the worse of it happens... things just go back to normal.

Whose to say the AI Bubble isn't just more fearmongering?
