ATLUS West announced the crossover with a cheeky note to Fortnite, confirming Joker, Ann Takamaki, and Morgana as the first arrivals in Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. They'll hit the Item Shop on September 25 at 5 p.m. PT, complete with emotes, pickaxes, wraps, and glowing effects that match their iconic looks. Fans love the faithful designs but hope for more Thieves down the line, with countdowns and giveaways building excitement.

So I watched it... It was an alright adventure.

The jokes were mostly hit-or-miss with me. Mostly miss (I understand the blue gnomes were meant to be kicked in the game, but why did that blue gnome enjoy it?). But the story gets more engaging more episodes along the way.

I didn't hate. not as engaging as I hoped it would be, but it was still an alright series. I'd give it a ★★★⯪☆.

Also, why was Tyris' battle-cry "SEGA" that one time? I figured there was a payoff to that "joke" from the trailer, but there wasn't any.


Would I watch a season two if there was one? Yeah. It was still an alright adventure and it feels hit-'n-miss, so maybe the progression would be more ironed-out by next season, if we were to get one. I imagine the developers will also have more of a sense what their audience want out of Golden Axe as a TV series as well.

It's not that bad, story-wise and humour-wise I kinda enjoyed it.
I also love that they brought both final bosses from Golden Axe 2 (Dark Guld) and Golden Axe 3 (Damned Hellstrike).



I thought it was just gonna Death-Adder.
Also while I like Gilius and Chronos ...



I still don't like Ax' caveman-like face and Tyris' toned-down costume. It's an adult cartoon, if they could have all the blood and gore, why not with sexy outfit.
And about Tyris screaming SEGA, well I think that's just an inner joke.
It's because Tyris VA who said SEGA perfectly (pronounced as SAY-GA) instead of other VAs who pronounces SEGA as SEE-GA.

Y'know, despite how easy and within reason it is to criticise him... I have to say, respect that he is at least keeping at making comics.
I can easily mock him. But if he were to challenge me to making a ten-page comic, even under plenty of time, he would still probably whoop my ass over it.

He indeed got the skill. His attitude is different topic though.

Thanks, I only have one brother and one sister so it's a lot of shock to me when it's happened.

What made SoR and GA the axe-ception?

I guess it's because of fans who couldn't stay low.
Streets of Rage Remake got C&D when SEGA of America launched their Genesis games on iOS including the Streets of Rage collection.
I remember in the comment section of the ad, there are fans who said the release was really dissapointing and called it minimal effort (since it's basically just roms running on emulator) and then compared it to SOR Remake.
Golden Axe Returns got C&D during the Power Surge ad's released. Some fans hate the 3D approach on the new Golden Axe and said they'd rather the game stays 2D like SOR4 and ... yeah, compared it to Golden Axe Returns.
