Of course not. It was not even a bad game at all, just not the unarguably wonderful title the series needs. Though, even if the full zone list fails to impress I honestly think Generations might just be that game.

In any event, the guy with the girl name who gave Sonic Unleashed a worse score than 06 and never even beat half of either left IGN.

What a horrible list! Spin-off titles like Tennis and Mean Bean should never be in a Sonic top ten because they ain't Sonic games! If they don't follow the gameplay rules and mechanics of a Sonic game, then they're not a Sonic game. They're spin-offs featuring Sonic in another genre. Admittedly, SST and Mean Bean are good games but they hardly classify as Sonic games. They're closer to being Virtua Tennis and Puyo Puyo titles respectively.

Not a single 3D title on the list? 8 of the 10 titles are 2D Sonic games, so the dumbfuck might as well just replaced SST and Mean Bean with two 2D Sonic games and called it his top ten 2D Sonic games list.

Only thing I agree with are most of his comments on Sonic 4. Though I would swap Sonic 1 and Sonic 4 and wouldn't include Colors DS because I've never played it.

What a fucking awful idea. Sonic R did just this and it controlled like shit.

Or how about picking up the WiiS2 version of Unleashed. Navigating the temples are near impossible thanks to Sonic's car like controls.

Sterling's readers are pretty stupid too. "I like this idea!", "this idea makes sense!", "why hasn't this been thought of before?"
