Just what I have always wanted!  The inferior 32X versions of classic arcade music from yesteryear!

It is like we have a key to a door, but it opens to winter... Without them, the groove is most certainly in sight.

Why does Sega only release these awesome albums in Japan?

You really think this would sell good in other parts of the world? Really?

Do they really sell that well in Japan though?

They make a new one every couple of months, so they have to. Half of the sales are probably from imports though.

Well if half the sales are from imports I can only guess they wouldn't fare all that bad outside of Japan..

With the right marketing, a Sega music album could sell a lot in some regions.

The 50% of the albums being sold to the rest of the world was just an assumption, but even then I would not see the point in releasing it outside of Japan. When you look at just how big the rest of the world is you will realize just how spread out and small that market is.

I doubt many people think these are worth it, either. $40 for game music? Most people would just rather buy all of the games represented in the collection for way less and go to the sound tests in them.
