BREATHTAKING MAGIC *bra disintegrates*

Seriously though, this looks great. I haven't played The Witcher 2 (my laptop isn't good enough run it :( ) so this'll be my first game in the series.

Wait, how are you going to play W3 if your laptop couldn't run W2? Console version? No Xbox 360? :(

My PC only runs Witcher 2 on medium. Dunno if I can buckle down and buy this to play it on super low. I might get it when I upgrade the video card.

I'm thinking the same thing. I don't think my current PC can run Witcher 2 at more than medium or so. I wouldn't mind playing W3 on low settings, but I'll have to see. I wonder if there will be a demo to gauge how it runs?

I think one of the settings that gets activated at high settings causes huge framedrop no matter what pc you have. If you have a good pc you could try switching it off

Edit: oh yeah ubersampling. Try that out if you can.

Ontopic. Havent played any of them yet even though I own them

Been trying to finish off 2 before this game and the little things bother me. Random NPCs can't even walk from one point to the other without bumping into stuff and breaking the illusion that its not a game. Then there are weird pauses and inconsistant gameplay to cutscenes (Show a cutscene, then back to me for like 2 steps then back to a cutscene. Its like, just make it all one cutscene....)

Tho its a great looking game and its a lot better than 1. I would suggest to anyone thinking of playing the old ones to just start at Witcher 2.

^I actually still think Witcher 1 is really good and worth playing. It's certainly different, but I really loved things like the potion system and some of the combat mechanics. I know the actual combat was very basic, but I liked the swords and side-arms and chugging potions and casting magic.
