Ninja Gaiden 3: Ryo Hayabusa will be unmasked :(

WTF is up with the DMC and Ninja Gaiden changes. Bayonetta 2 should be announced, show the fools how its done.

Tecmo Koei has announced Ninja Gaiden 3, revealing one image which teases what we can expect from the sequel.

Attending a behind-closed door reveal earlier today, the image of Ryo Hayabusa holds secrets of the game to come. Ryu is pulling off his mask to represent a more human side to the series' protagonist and the idea that players will discover more about him.

Ryu also has blood on his face, representing a more violent and bloody experience to Ninja Gaiden 2. You can also see a reflection of a person in Ryu's eye, perhaps suggesting an inner darkness which he is trying to contain - the likelihood is this darkness will manifest itself with new abilities.

Finally the flames represent Ryu's decent into a hellish realm and the hell he plans to unleash on his foes.

The game's currently without a firm release date or platforms.

He was "UNMASKED" in all of the Dead or Alive games, there was even DLC of the first game that was him without a mask.

I knew that Team Ninja became shit almost overnight when Itagaki left and took all of his favorites and how they ruined Sigma 2, but this is just silly. Not expecting much from this at all, very disappointed with how they are going to treat it.

How is it superior?

Did you see what they did to the magic attacks in Sigma 2? They were all turned into cutscenes like an RPG for some reason. They removed some of the areas and replaced them with more back tracking sections that added nothing to the experience besides making it longer. They changed the story to add more Dead or Alive characters, but it ruins the barely logical canon of both series because almost none of them met then.

They also took a series based on the story of one person and added three female characters to part of the story that add nothing to the experience, two of which are not even featured or hinted at in the original game, meanwhile Sonia is not playable even though she would has different kinds of weapons. It is like being able to play as Joy, Xiuying and Ine-san in Shenmue 1, it is stupid and makes no sense. They removed and replaced some other stuff, but I cannot remember anymore. Ninja Gaiden II had a lot of flaws, but Sigma 2 was in no way superior. They even made the story more serious, WTF

No, that is way better. Superior game for sure. No lagging, story is better, more boss fights and smoother graphics.
