Every time I play Shenmue I find something I missed the previous time. I thought I'd collect some of my favourite Scenes you may have missed on your travels though Aisa.

The friends scene was an extremly hard one to find, but I did on my 5th playthrough or so.

I've seen all of those except the friends scene in Shenmue I and the bad ending where a tree falls on Shenhua in Shenmue II.

A few other things I haven't done: beat Chai in Shenmue I, obtain the hidden move scrolls from the Dragon Street Lucky Hit stand in Shenmue II.

Aaaand Cube makes his 6th post!

Cool scenes, I've seen most on YouTube before but never got any outside of the bad endings (which I did intentionally).

The Shenmue II tree kill video is rather funny, from a sick point of view. I mean, look at the blood! Has there ever been blood in Shenmue up til then?

In the last vid, a comment on youtube makes a valid point:

I remember first hearing about the Duck Races in a magazine and trying it out right away. I was just absolutely blown away by the fact that something like that was hidden away in the game.

I've never really thought about it that way. Maybe that can be the next step in the Shenmue Campaign, we just ultra sarcastically suggest to SEGA that the story is over and that the bad endings wrap everything up and they need not bother anymore.

But you have to buy the game and play it. Not owning the game and not playing the game at all will not give you the "bad ending", it will just give you nothing.

I have the game, but this whole time, I didn't even know a "bad ending" existed. I guess you must be pretty friggin' horrible to get anywhere close to that.

But that's actually pretty cool. Makes it more realistic.

I did not know about ANY of these!

I need to get Shenmue II for the Dreamcast to get some duck! Shenmue II is the game I most miss from my Xbox.. :c

There was the duck and fight against Eileen at the second floor at the arcade, which was kinda weird.

I never got Fangmei's birthday, but I did her goodbye scene.

I also remembered a scene on disc 3 which led me to an orphanage in which Ren had to bribe a kid with a capsule toy to tell them where did Yuan get food for his bird.
