Fantasy Zone turns 30 years young!

Yesterday was Opa-Opa's 30th birthday, and George and I celebrated by yapping about the franchise:

I was also surprised to see that SEGA acknowledged the franchise: https://twitter.com/SEGA/status/714606125941784577

Then again, it was probably Sam Mullen, so I am not THAT surprised.

Anyway, happy 30th to Fantasy Zone! Was curious of people's memories with the franchise, what their favorite games are, and what they want to see from the franchise in the future. Sound off!

Back then I was kinda annoyed with the game (Master System version of FF1) because the final boss stage is hard as hell and I couldn't finished it.
But the music is so damn catchy, made me keep playing.
I skipped FF2 since the music wasn't as catchy as FF1, so I guess what I love most from the game was its music.

I finally finished FF1 last year, thanks to the M2's 3DS version of the game.
And finished 3D FF2 too and just realized how good the game was.

Yeah, those M2 remakes make the game far more playable. Still hard as nails, but at least you start at the last stage you completed.
