What do you think about this series? Do you remember it or ever played?
For me the series is great. The only bummer for me are the enemies which you can't "shoot" because they are not human. This strongly discouraged me from further play because I like exploration and checking every nook and cranny.
In the second part of the game you could use a water arrow to extinguish the furnace and a fire arrow to destroy it, but I remember the stages with monsters, ghosts or whatever it was on which nothing worked except maybe holy water, which was too little in relation to the number of enemies on the map.
