Shining Force Cross is basically just a spiritual sequel to Quest of D, and because it is all done by AM2 it is pretty much the only good thing that happened to the series for years.

Not really excited about all of this stuff though, just hoping to see a new VF5FS trailer.

From this concept art, it seems that the artistic style has changed:
darker, more adult and serious, and a little less manga/anime inspired aside from the faces.
Not much, but if these changes will be kept in the game, a step ahead.

I sure hope that they release the original SFC to consoles someday, then. ^__^ It might be one of those games that's just totally worth importing.

I did see some kind of lizard headed guy in the SF Cross intro, though.

Ah too bad. It's a shame really because those kind of classes aren't found in any online rpg type of games. I'd love to play a game like that with a horseman wielding a big spear  :afroman: Cooporating with birdheaded  guys and ratfaces.

Fingers crossed for the shining series taking an example of sonic in finding their roots.

@ Fluffymoo,

I'm gonna look for it, thx for pointing that out

The elves are back! Ok.

Where are the magicians? Dwarves? Beastmen?
