New Fatal Frame for the Wii
« on: September 30, 2010, 06:26:13 pm »
The Fatal Frame series is making a return to the Nintendo Wii in 2011 in what appears to be a remake of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.
Here is a short announcement article.

It'll be interesting to see if they just improve the visuals and such or change up the game quite a bit. I'll be keeping an eye on this because Fatal Frame II is the scariest game ever made in my opinion and I'm hoping we can see a Western release of this terrifying(but also very fun and engaging) installment of the series.

I love the Fatal Frame games. Not sure if this will come over, though. The fourth game didn't (was at least pinned for Europe, but it was canned). It might have been for several reasons; buggy and Nintendo published it... yeah.

Hope it does though. Even if it's slightly revamped port of the original, FF2 is a horror title I wouldn't mind revisiting.
