They do not even do that anymore. Now even that is limited time.

Most of Sony's games were not even known at the beginning of last year, remember. The ones that were known were just like that because they were delayed six times and will suck anyways. I expect a lot from both Microsoft and Nintendo, who are both usually quieter about their releases. We did not even know what Halo Reach was going to look like just over a year ago, I think that says a lot.

We knew about Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake, ME2, Crackdown 2 and Halo Reach a year or more in advance.
I hope some new games are announced because I'm not really interested in GOW3.

According to Hip Hop Gamer, if you believe him, Microsoft has a new studio to announce in 2011. They will all be 'fresh talent' out of school. They have been working on the studio for 3 years, according to him.
