« on: May 21, 2010, 12:45:36 pm »
Cool find,

found an old issue of Next Gen (U.S. equivalent of Edge in the late 90's early 2k's).

-5 stars, interesting comments

Giant corporations. . . The assassin\'s underworld has become a commodity. A chance for profit AND entertainment for the masses. But shadows from the wilder days still linger. . .

boo, Sony-boy!

God Bless, Yu for what he was trying to express in Shenmue and gift to gamers.  No other game compares to the soul-enriching beauty of the Shenmue experience.

What is this? It seems like a corporate mainstream game: Heavy story focus, Mini-games, 'open world'...

Not to mention look at how generic the main character is, just more westernized pandering mainstream stuff. At least don't make it so obvious they ripped off Tom Cruise from Top Gun so much!
