Star Wars 1313 or Mercenaries 3?

Which game would have been better? Notice I said "would have". Both games were unfortunately cancelled.

I feel like Star Wars 1313 is not that much of a loss, seeing his Visceral's upcoming Star Wars game is inspired by it.

Star Wars 1313 was a lame ass, by the books, cover shooter with uncharted climbing setpieces with absolutely nothing new to offer. I'll never understand why people thought it looked good.

It was one of the first PS4/Xbox One games that was shown, if not the first. So graphically it looked amazing at the time.


Also people like Uncharted and what was shown was basically Uncharted meets Star Wars so.

I would have much preferred to see 1313 because I was (and am) invested in the story that they had planned to tell, which was expanding on Boba Fett in that era and the bounty hunters he worked with. I know the game had various directions it was heading, but the Boba Fett angle was my favorite.

Wow. None of you even mentioned Mercenaries 3. I will admit the features were cool for Star Wars 1313 and I'm very excited for the new Battlefront game, but am I really the only one here that played the first two mercenaries games?

I didn't mention Mercenaries 3 because I was too busy hammering on 1313. Mercenaries 3 looked pretty god damn amazing, as were the previous 2 games. Battlefront just looks meh.

Don't really have an opinion about it. I never played the previous 2 games. They sort of reminded me a worse Crackdown or Just Cause.

Nah, I really meant it as it is. The shooting looked boring, the setpieces looked boring, everything was derivative as hell from Uncharted and Uncharted is already so repetitive, the biggest change it has throughout the series is the title.

And i just realized you weren't talking about Battlefront. For some reason, I thought you were talking about that since the topic was Star Wars. Mercenaries? It's fun but nothing really special.

I did mention that I was exited for the new Battlefront. Seems like a good game. Mercenaries was an underrated series that not too many people know about. Of course, you could just say it's another generic GTA clone.
