The History of Sega Japan R&D by Trippled
« on: November 19, 2015, 03:02:09 pm »
I just wanted to call attention to the great work Trippled has done in the four part The History of Sega Japan R&D article series which can be found on the front page of the site. Lots of faces put to great games, and a clear story of how SEGA evolved over the years in Japan:

The History of Sega Japan R&D, Part 1: The Origins and the 80s
The History of Sega Japan R&D, Part 2: The 90s Golden Age
The History of Sega Japan R&D, Part 3: Innovative Heights and the End of an Era
The History of Sega Japan R&D, Part 4: The Current Sega

Many great names indeed.

What do you think of the idea of having a top 10 or top 5 Sega names similar to the top 25 Sega games. Or just have it limited to the forums?

That's something I'd love to do once the top games list thing is complete! The list entries have wound down, but I'm giving it one more push and then am cutting it off at the end of the year. Should have results early 2016 (though i want to make a proper article listing the games)

Your right one after the other is for the better, plus it gives me time to flesh out Sega Retro articles.
