Heh, I wish his cartoon series continued. I loved it.

I read they aren't interested to make a new one after Norm Macdonald, who voiced Pigeon, passed away in 2021.

When they say they're having a sale, it means for games on their platform (Switch and Switch 2).
Almost all of the sales are third party games, like Sonic Frontiers, Hogwarts Legacy, or Skyrim.
Hell, even Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: + Rayman Edition is a third party game.
It's published by Ubisoft.
Other Mario games aren't on sale.
