SEGA and ATLUS‘ P-Studio are supervising development and providing resources, while Perfect World Games and Black Wings Game Studio will develop, distribute, and operate the title.
While it is based on the world of Persona 5, it is being developed as a new game tailored to local user preferences, trends, and gameplay environments.
The protagonist and his Persona were designed by ATLUS art team’s Shigenori Soejima.

Of course not. His birth name was Colin Kintobor Jr. His father was Dr. Julien Kintobor's brother. That makes Snively the nephew of Dr. Robotnik.
As for Dr. Starline, some perhaps ship humans with mobians but it's not a popular ship.

Starting to wonder if this should have it's own thread or not... but then again perhaps talking about it on the mobile thread is enough. It just looks like "for a mobile game" it's gonna have an existential & psychological horror story which are usually rather elaborate. Given I doubt I'll be able to get this game myself I would like to keep up with it's story.

That's true. We dunno the filll extent they have in mind with RE:SET. I mean Sega Heroes still had some potential left until it ended.
Kind of unfair some mobile games out there I'll never play. Not because they're inaccessible to me but once someone pulls the plug on them then that's it.
