So who should be included in the next Allstar Racing this time round?

Who should get included in the next title of Sonic and Sega All star racing that didn't make it last time? And would you omit some characters that was in the first title?

I would put in
-Vyse/Aika/Fina in some kind of small flying ship. (Skies of Arcadia)
-Edge, Azel or Orta fying some kind of imperial ship, Lagi as special (Panzer Dragoon)
-Alicia/Welkin driving the tank (Valkyria Chronicles)
-Joe Musashi (Shinobi)
-A Rappy (Phantasy Star)
-Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza)
-Bayonetta (Bayonetta)
-Alex in squad car (Streets of Rage)
-Toejam and Earl (not that I cared for those games but everyone else seems too.)
-Miku character (Project Diva)  (to keep the japanese happy)

I would take out:
Chu Chu Rocket as racers and turn them into a weapon instead.


Just because a lot of characters cant really be racers does not mean they should not feature in the game. I mean, how much would it take to have the after burner jet fly over a level? Or Temjin from Virtual On? it would be little effort (as far as i know) for maximum reward, it would make lots of Sega fans happy. I really hope they go ALL OUT with cameos and little easter eggs from Segas past. If they arent well known, make them a weapon, or a trophey or the title of a Cup race or simply fly by in a level. Any little thing like that would go miles towards making Sega fans happy.

Regarding Miku, I don't think that would ever happen. I don't think SASASR even got a Japanese release, and I'd doubt the sequel would get a release either.

Really weird too, I would think they would enjoy it over there. Then again, I don't get the Japanese.

Yeah, we posted the toys. Its obvious they have been working on it. I posted over a year ago when Sumo did a bit of a tease about it.

I would play that game. Unforunately it'll probably just be red and green shells- er, I mean missiles.
Ah, I kid, I kid. I still don't agree with the choices made for SSR 1 but I think SSR 2 could be cool.

As for legit things I'd like to see, I want to see classic tracks make it into the game (777 Speedway, Lakeside, a track from Sonic R or something). Not sure on characters, I think someone from Powerdrift would be cool though.

I also very much agree with Sharky's idea of cameos in the background, remember how awesome it was having the Afterburner jet in Fighters Megamix?

We need Segata Sanshiro, flying a SEGA saturn that hovers above the ground.

His all star move is as follows:

He leaps out of his Saturn, straps it on his back, and begins running down the track. The theme "Segata Sanshiro" begins to play, and transparent clips from his commercials appear on the screens of the other racers. Kind of like the rainbow attack, except with SEGATA Sanshiro. AND IT'S AWESOME.

To satisfy the Sonic fans, they might as well include 4 racers: Silver, Rouge, Blaze and the Chaotix. Personally, I'd love to see those characters despite only being a fan of the Chaotix. It would be cool to have the entire Sonic cast represented in a racing game. After that, they should go half popular non-Sonic characters and half cult favorite characters.

The question is, will this upcoming game be a full on sequel, satisfying all the hype we've been building, or will it turn out to be a cheap Wii U exclusive version with a few new racers and tracks?
