The trailer for Monster World IV remake looks less colorful and feels...  lifeless..

Clockwork Aquario - Free Wallpapers

Quote
“In the 90s, when game centers were dominated by fighting games, there was one title which had never been released, even though it was completed after more than two years of development and repeated changes. This title is Clockwork Aquario. Who would have thought that it would be restored and playable again? I would like to express my heartfelt respect and gratitude to those who have worked so hard to restore it. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that this work is a great piece of 2D art, where the pixel artists of that time put their hearts and souls into. I’d be happy if people would appreciate and enjoy it.” – Ryuichi Nishizawa

Trivia: Wonder Boy - Asha in Monster World License was Secured by United Games

Quote
SEGA company previously owned the rights to all Wonder Boy videogames, even unreleased ones such as Asha in Monster World.
However, United Games Entertainment managed to secure the game’s rights and publish it for fans to enjoy.
The Wonder Boy games’ original staff, Westone Bit entertainment, came together with SEGA and United Games and created an authentic and wildly loved addition that stays true to the spirit’s first Wonder Boy game.

Asha is one of main heroine and the fated legendary heroes of the Wonder Boy series.
Asha is generally average stat-wise but slightly favours handling and acceleration.
Pepelogoo, Asha's amorphous companion is also joining the race, despite the fact that it can't even reach the pedals with its stubby feet!
