Abusive messages PSN?XBL

Has this happened to any of you?

I received an abusive message yesterday at the end of an online match on bad company. Basically it was some kid saying 'DIKHED'; It would seem that there is no complaint button on the PS3 to send to Sony's attention and that you have to go through the whole rigmarole of doing it online.

I'm sure the person that sent it me was probably a 12 year old boy and I should have just ignored it but I couldn't help myself:-

Chump:  'DIKHED'

Me: Virgin.

Chump: 'At lest I dnt do it wiv gys DIKHED'

Me: 'Are you seriously attacking me because I beat you in a VIDEO GAME?'

Chump: 'I had more points thn u'

Me: 'Then why are you personally attacking me, dude you seriously need to calm down.'

Chump: 'U called me a virgin american DIKHed'

Me: ' 1: You started the petty name calling by sending me a message.
        2: I am not American.
        3: You ARE a virgin

        Contact me again and I'll get your PSN banned.'

Do you guys usually just ignore it or do you (like me in this instance) stoop down to some very childish level and retaliate?

I should mention that I promptly blocked him form sending me more messages and sent a complaint from playstation.com

There's one stereotype in Brazil regarding Portuguese people. If you're Portuguese then you own a bakery.

One of these days I got a message from some Brazillian telling me to go back to my bakery.

I laughed and sent him kissies.

Don't send back a bad message. I know its tempting but then you'll look bad at the same time.

I get called a cheater and a spammer a lot when playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

And then there's always the Roll Rage... :P

I got a message for a user out of nowhere that said:

"Your mom is horrible"

So I responded

"I would not go that far"

and I got

"lol" back.  :evil:

Here, I'll just post all the ones I got in my inbox right now. I've gotten plenty more in the last year, but unfortunately XBL deletes them after 30 days. :P

I can't think of many times I've gotten nasty messages actually. I know one guy who was crazy good at Aliens vs Predator sent me about 4 voice messages saying stuff like "MAN I KILLED YOU ALL 'YO I'MMA KICK YO' ASSSSSES" in a really obvious american accent, followed by ones in an Indian accent apologising and saying he didn't know who sent the messages.
It was pretty funny.

Apart from that I got some guy on SF2HD who used Boss Akuma (who is broken and actually banned from tournaments)(I'm 99% certain it was boss akuma anyway...) just saying stuff like "You fucking suck man, I owned you like my step-son" and various other nasty/offensive stuff.

I just replied with stuff like "LOL! Nice Akuma :)" and "GGs pal!", being overly nice while filing complaints about him.

After one match he sent another angry message (he won all the matches I think, but i came close a few times) and I again sent him something really friendly. His response?
"Thanks, you're very good too."

oh i received more than one naughty messages and a pic also >.> that is what happen as i'm a girl i suppose. Than i've reported more than one person while playing RE5 versus as people is used to get offline in the middle of a run and i hate this... i got some angry messages back  :mrgreen:

I got a hate message in GTA IV on PS3. Apparently, this guy has no life anyway and he got kicked out (cause that's what he gets for trash-talking me). I prefer going into Free Mode with Police On and Friendly Fire Off.
