I do prefer his live action films to stop motion, this film has made me swear that I will visit India one day.

Iron Man 2.

I watched the first one beforehand, to jog my memory, and make sure to stay objective. I thought that this one really holds up as a solid sequel.  I cannot wait for that Avengers movie.
Also: they managed to fit in the Daft Punk remix of Another One Bites the Dust vs. Robot Rock from DJ Hero. Loved it.

Iron Man 2 as well

Fun movie, got to the action much faster than 1 did. I'd equate it with Spider-Man 2. The hero was already established, so they got right to the meat of the story. Only complaint is that they replaced Terrence Howard (same thing pissed me off in The Dark Knight).
Iron Man 1: 8/10
Iron Man 2: 8.5/10

I'd probably give it a higher score once Captain America, Thor and The Avengers come out.

OH! And I spotted the Sega logo in the movie! Hint: Pepper and Tony make a toast.

They traded up to Don Cheadle though, so I'm cool with that.

Can't wait for Thor, Cap and Avengers, it's going to be sweeeeet. I wonder if they plan to do an Ant-Man/Yellow Jacket movie as well though?

The Book of Eli.

More action packed and interesting than "The Road".

Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch - Another awesome movie from the Air Bud series, this time dealing with baseball. I loved it, and giggled all the way through. Air Bud has done it again!

Groundhog Day - I hadn't seen this movie since I was a little kid, so I wasn't sure whether I'd be getting a good movie or a big disappointment. Thankfully, it turned out to be the former. It's smart, cheeky, mildly believable, and most of all, very fun and entertaining to watch. I liked it.

One of my favorite movies!

I forgot where I heard it, but supposedly the movie took place within 30-some years time. I would have been way worse off than Bill if that were me!

I don't think it was really that long. But even if it was, what would you be able to do about it? Nothing, of course. You can't commit suicide or get out of your situation. You'd just have to learn to cope with it eventually, just like he did.

Such a great story. ^__^

On the DVD commentary, Harold Ramis said he relives the same day for about 10 years (3,600+ times).

Per wikipedia, however, Ramis later changed his mind and thought 30 to 40 years was more probable:
Quote
Rubin (the film's writer) had also originally envisioned Andie MacDowell's character Rita reliving the day with Phil, and portrayed the pair as being stuck in the time loop for far longer than in the final film, possibly for thousands of years (Phil tracked time by reading a page of a book each day and had managed to read through the entire public library). Ramis states in the commentary that he believes 10 years pass. The website Wolf Gnards calculated the time spent as 8 years, 8 months, and 16 days: based on him spending 3 years learning to play the piano, 3 years learning to ice sculpt, 2 years learning French, and 6 months learning to throw cards into a hat. However in an e-mail response to Wolf Gnards, Ramis said "I think the 10-year estimate is too short. It takes at least 10 years to get good at anything, and alloting for the down time and misguided years he spent, it had to be more like 30 or 40 years"

Groundhog Day is probably one of my favorite movies and one of the best time travel films next to the Back to the Future trilogy. Air Bud on the other hand, is dog shit.

Ten Years to get good at anything?

I disagree very much with that, especially considering this guy could dedicate pretty much every single day learning something with no need for weekends or other commitments in his way he could go at his own pace.

If you played piano every day for 3 years straight, you would be pretty damn good.

That's on my must watch list. The arcade game references/visuals look awesome.

Thinking of seeing MacGruber this weekend. I'm a big fan of Will Forte.

I also really want to check out MacGruber.

I ended up going to see Shrek 4 first. I'm not a huge fan of the Shrek series, but my girlfriend is, so I figured I'd take her out to see it.

It was about the same as every Dreamworks animated movie I've ever seen as far as quality goes. One or two really funny bits, and then the rest is just "ok".  The fat kid near the beginning was probably my favourite part.

Watched, American Graffiti and Night at the Museum over the last few days

Both of which were better then I thought they would be.
