While I didn't agree with all of your choices and there were some lesser known games that really were a technical marvel for the Genesis / Mega Drive, I did post some feedback on your YouTube video compilation.

One of these days I may get around to it if I can find a way to record from the frame buffer of the Magic Engine (PC Engine emulator) that really showed how a console could hold up to the test of time. Launched in the days of the NES, and still popular in Japan, it was a rather amazing machine considering it's age and the effects developers managed to pull off on it. In it's last days, official ports of Neo Geo games were getting put on this old 8 bit beast! That I find amazing.
I despise ignorant fanboys. Enjoy the great games on all systems or platforms. There is no reason for blind hate...

I think it's a great video (well, videos!).  Although I find the emulator filtering to be distracting, having grown up with the original resolution -- that's what the games are and that's how the artists intended them to be.  Although I must say, there's a filter bundled with Kega that looks the most like an actual TV with an RF connection of any that I've ever seen, including very subtle ghosting of the images... ah, well, I'm getting sidetracked.  The videos showed a few games I've never heard of, so I appreciate it!  Thanks for the link.

Pier Solar, as nice as it looks is unforgivable in terms of difficulty.
Big fan of Claymore, Miria in particular.

Currently playing Yakuza 0.

I have my Top 5. Mind you, I haven't played every Genesis/Mega Drive title available, but there are my favorites....

1. Red Zone - The game looks fantastic. Really, the opening cinematic looks incredible, taking into consideration the limitations of the format. Also, great use of color and 3D graphics. Quite stunning.

2. Virtua Racing - As far as I know, it's the only Genesis/Mega Drive title to utilize the SVP chip, which was capable of rendering 300-500 polygons per second. The frame rate is solid and the visuals, though nowhere near "arcade perfect", are a sight to behold.

3. Wiz & Liz: The Frantic Wabbit Wescue - While it's an incredibly simple puzzle/platformer, Wiz & Liz has some the smoothest, most colorful visuals I've seen on the Genesis. Once I saw the Psygnosis logo in the night sky being reflected beautifully in the water, I was kind of awe-struck. Gorgeous game.

4. Flashback: The Quest for Identity - Still one of my favorites. Great use of color, first-rate rotoscoped animation, and the cinematics are smooth and stylish. Fantastic piece of work.

5. Outlander - I love this game. The animation may be a little choppy, but there's still a strong sense of speed and I love hitting bikers, watching said bike explode while they fly over the hood and hit the pavement in my rear-view mirror. Great fun!
