Sega's Linbergh games now in proper HD/Widescreen footage
« on: May 08, 2013, 09:31:23 am »
Previously games on that arcade hardware were just captured cabinet footage that was all washed up. But now a kind Youtube user has gotten proper capture played on real Hardware:

2 Spicy (very cool intro)

R-Tuned

Sega Race TV

Hotd EX

Harley 2

Let's go Jungle

Now that we can see how these properly look like...want would want ported the most?

They look like a lot of fun.  Personally I want to play all the racing games.  And Let's Go looks so weird and funny, I'd love to play that.  I'm not so sure about 2 Spicy, it looks a little too basic for someone who's used to FPS, but maybe it has some depth that you only "get" when you play it.

strangely enough i saw r-tuned and lets go jungle this weekend when we went out on the bank holiday, I'd like to see r-tuned as i play that when ever i see it in arcades.

On a separate note also in the same arcade ( Rhyl in north Wales ) i saw an 8 player linked Sega Rally set up, the one with cameras looking at every driver!!! really impressive set up to look at, you don't see that much here any more in the uk it's all slot machines in arcades now :(

Able to confirm if R-Tuned runs on 60FPS like ABC and Outrun 2?

On a different note Psy-Phi machines have been spotted at GameWorks centers playable and all. Sega cancelled it for a dumb reason...like damaging your fingers on touchscreen?? Suzuki said something like that.
It's a game capable of getting a proper release too.

He said that players' fingertips would get uncomfortably hot from swiping on the screen so much.  But that's pretty cool if it's actually been released... or is it still in a location test stage?
