So is this a Wii game? It certainly doesn't look graphically as good as Yakuza 3 & 4.

Yeah, this is looking really great, but it is Nagoshi's game, what did you all expect? I am still not too interested, but want to see more.

Something I noticed was that the backgrounds in the city are all flat images, which is what I assumed prior. I do not think this hurts the game because the actual fighting is in full 3D and looks great. Though, maybe it is only one on one fights this time? The trailer and way the camera is presented make it look like that to me. That might also make it easier to allow 2P fights to take place.

I also liked the look of the cutscenes a lot more than I expected I would have. They look very nice and stylish.

They mention it is for PSP only a lot in the trailer.

I didn't watch the whole thing. I skipped about in it, so I must not have caught that.

Thanks, George. I went to the front page and read it just now. Looks good for a PSP game. I really did think it was a Wii title for a minute there.

Honestly, I hope the western release of K and 4 aren't hanging on Sega's lackluster efforts to make Yakuza 3 western sales.

How long before Yakuza MMO fighting game?

Hello, that is a money maker in the making!

If Shenmue Online taught Sega anything, I doubt we'll see a Yakuza MMO.

I think there is real potential with that idea and I don't see the the Shenmue Online deal being transferable to this situation in terms of determining its success or not.

Yakuza MMO online would have quite a bit more going for it then Shenmue Online ever did and it would be more fighting orientated.

Just imagine if you could create your own Yakuza character, fight and train on PSP and PS3 and take online and then Sega could host tournaments with real prizes in the underground arena.

Seriously, this is a good fuckin' idea.

Sega, hire me you idiots!

Any chances of this getting a PS2 release? It wouldn't be the first game...

Ryu Ga Gotoku MMO?

Take a look at the official release; Kurohyou supports at 4 players using Adhoc on the PSP.

Yeah, this is a multiplayer game.

Did not see that.

Though, they did say the fighting arena would 'be a major part of the game'.

I assume 2 vs. 2 or free for all battles on adhoc?

The cutscenes remind me a lot of the ones from the Metal Gear Solid games on PSP.
As far as in game stuff, it looks like the camera system's the same as the PS2 versions. This is great as far as I'm concerned. No second analog stick on the PSP means fixed angles are way less frustrating.

I don't think it'll be limited to one on one fighting.
