Comic-Con Special Edition is currently being held on November 26–28 at the San Diego Convention Center.
In conjunction with Special Edition is the limited opening of the Comic-Con Museum on Friday, November 26, 2021, and also planned is the grand opening scheduled in July of 2022.

"Golden Axe III Redux" (GAIII Balance & SRAM Patch)

GA3 Redux is a balance and SRAM upgrade patch for Golden Axe III

Changes:
- All four characters have overall increased attack strength
- Enemies no longer block
- SRAM function to save progress
- Removed Region lockout

Saving: Game saves at the map screen
Loading: Enter Options, Press up and select exit. Then start your game.

Golden Axe Hard Edition for SEGA Genesis (Rom Hack)

This is a simple hack to make the game more difficult. Changes:

    All your attacks now do half the damage
    You start the game with only one life
    No continues

I might give it a go. I should find games that satisfy the viking blood in me. (At least I think I might have viking decent, not confirmed but almost one million Britons alive today are of Viking descent.)

I just wish there were barbarian games. I did consider Conan Exiles but the fact it doubles as a town construction game doesn't seem all that barbaric to me.

Have you tried Dragon's Crown?
Gameplay-wise it's heavily inspired by Golden Axe.
One of my favorite games back then.






It also has barbarian, amazon, dwarf, dragon, and even a killer rabbit as a boss.

Yep, definitely inspired from Monty Python's Killer Rabbit.
I was laughing when the first time I fought the boss
since that was really an unexpected boss.

This game is really gold,
taking many inspiration from many classic games, movies, and literatures.
Definitely recommended.
