I wasn't sure how they would handle Attila. Are they treating it like Fall of the Samurai, or more like Napoleon?

I would have said it's the Napoleon of Rome 2... It certainly does for Rome 2 what Napoleon did for Empire. Aka, fix it.

Something is wrong when a bigger company like SEGA has less titles coming out than Atlus. I hope they fix this soon with new game announcements.
I'm puzzled as to how Atlus is managing to localize and develop all of these games given how small they are compared to Sega. I'm not sure if they ever churned out this many games before. It's like they suddenly went into overdrive once they got the financial stability they needed. If Sega-Sammy has done one thing right, it's buying the right studios and giving them the freedom to do what they do best. Creative Assembly has turned into one a development powerhouse under Sega-Sammy's wings, and it looks like Atlus might be set to experience the same growth. I think Persona 5 has a lot of potential to become a big hit for Sega, in Japan and also overseas. It seems Sega-Sammy realizes that, given how they highlighted the game in their forecast.

Yeah, I just wish that SEGA Japan gave their in-house Japanese team a bit more freedom as well. It seems like SEGA-AM2 is stuck doing Hatsune Miku games, while not terrible games are a farcry from the types of games they made in the 80's, 90's and even in the 00's...

I think SEGA-AM2 should be asked to just make a game for PS4 and see how it goes. Worse thing that happens, its a bomb. I doubt it will though, given their experience in gaming. I don't think arcade ports will do that well anymore as a full packaged title.

I'd say it is time to stop make the arcade priority to the AM teams in general. Lots of talented staff who made all kinds of arcade games, could make a fun digital title. Crazy Taxi creator has expressed interrest for an online Crazy Taxi game on consoles, or Kataoka making a Fighting Megamix 2.

No, i mean last fiscal year (31 March 2014 - 31 March 2015). Games like Yakuza ishin and Hero bank 1 doesnt count. And i also think is does not matter the console versions. Are 15 games all different.
Those 15 games according to SEGA-SAMMY were all in the west last fiscal year, so games like Hero bank 2 and yakuza 0 doesnt also count.

From that list it would be:

Hatsune Miku PDF2
Alien isolation
Sonic BOOM ROL
Sonic BOOM SC
Persona Q
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
FM2015

Sorry my memory but i dont remember anything else...
Anybody?

PD:Thanks for the list nevertheless Berto

Are you sure they specified in the west? Also in retail terms each different platform is a different 'SKU' or product, so it would make sense.

The restructure help the reports to difference releases for Overseas and Japan.

They put 15 Overseas titles for the last fiscal year.

Attila will have something, but i agree about Warhammer.
Stella Glow will be published by SEGA in Japan and by Atlus here.
Tembo and Yakuza 5 does not count, i am pretty sure.
I really doubt we will have a Sonic game this fiscal year. They expect to sell 7 millons of copies in general and i assume that 4 millons are from the "catalogue" (all the games that SEGA and Atlus already released and are still to be bought).
So more or less they expect to sell only 3 millons copies this year...and pretty sure Persdona 5 will get one of this 3.
This will be a "easy" year in my opinion, but at least we have some games here and there.

I think Tembo and Yakuza does count. In the past SEGA has put PC releases as a different SKU in America, even though they don't have retail versions of Total War or Company of Heroes available, it is the same for the 3DS. I'm pretty sure you can verify this by looking at that list alone.

They don't have retail TW or CoH? Really? I've seen Rome 2 for sale in stores in Canada at least, and Australia definitely had retail of both. I bought CoH2 retail and I think I've seen Attila on shelves too.

To be fair, a lot of Atlus' titles are localizations and updated versions of older games.

What if Overseas doesn't always mean western?
What if Asia's region (R3) is considered as overseas too?  ;)

We got Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, Shining Resonance, Chain Chronicle V, and Phantasy Star Nova localized here..
But in chinese, not in english.  :(
