Sonic the Hedgehog 2 “extended preview” showcased at CineEurope

The Sonic movie sequel were among the many films previewed by Paramount at the 30th running of CineEurope, an official convention by the International Union of Cinemas.
It showcased a number of short unidentified scenes from the film, and it was highlighted by an attendee that the sequel’s humour and action will be both about “the same level” as in the first film.

Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute on Nintendo Switch features fully working SEGA Saturn emulator

City Connection just recently released Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute that compiled Cotton 2, Cotton Boomerang and Guardian Force on a single cartridge.
The game was, well, not well received due to the emulation being used having input lag, making the games hard to play.
The story would have ended there but, GBATemp user Iisreal2301 figured out a way to load his own SEGA Saturn images onto the game file, basically allowing you to boot up any SEGA Saturn game by tricking the system into thinking its loading a Cotton game!

Sonic Genesis For Master System v1.03 beta4 is Out Now

Additional changes:
- boss music (lower volume of some notes at the end of the song)
- Put back the waves on water of Labyrinth. I didn't recognize the tiles and removed them earlier. Miraculously they did not take much space and everything still fits with them, phew!
- fixed 2 pixel in water of greenhill act 2
- trees in Marble should look ok-ish
- the new fire in marble zone seemed to go down, instead of up. So i had to swap red and yellow to fix it .

Sonic Colors Ultimate update 1.03 is now rolling out for players on PS4.
According to the official Sonic Colors Ultimate patch notes, the latest update added various stability fixes.
Apart from this, Sonic Colors Ultimate version 1.03 also includes performance improvements.

FilmRise snags LUPIN, Sonic X, Virtua Fighter anime among TMS Entertainment deal

New York-based producer and streamer FilmRise is to launch a new anime-focused OTT channel and has struck a far-reaching deal with studio TMS Entertainment with which to stock it.
The deal gives FilmRise AVOD rights in the US and Canada to 38 anime TV series and films – accounting for more than 1,100 episodes.

I wish Sonic Team would make more Halloween (and Christmas) specials for Sonic the Hedgehog like they used to do with Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams and Sonic Adventure DLCs. But now days only the mobile games seem to put any effort into it.

Ideas in mind:

• A sequel to Sonic: Night of the Werehog, or if the werehog is a no then the very least an animation set in Pumpkin Hill or Cryptic castle. Preferably animated by Marza or Kusomoto.
• Archie and IDW have made issues for Halloween ComicFest but these issues had nothing to do with Halloween or it's themes. Archie made an adaption of Sonic Lost World and IDW reprinted their first issue. I know that making comics is not easy and sometimes they have to stall scheduled release dates for the issues but can they at least put asside some of that development to put into a mild-horror spin-off story for Halloween ComicFest? 2019 was during the Metal Virus arc, where they had zombies! They had the perfect genre for a Halloween special and instead of telling a story around it they reprinted the first issue instead. What a waste. Could of had a Living Dead parody or something.
• When it comes to Sonic cartoons, the last holiday special I recall is Sonic Christmas Blast. Since then the Sonic cartoons never had holiday specials. I did made a list of episodes I thought were suited for Halloween but other than that would a holiday special be too much to ask for in a Sonic cartoon?
• Just make more use of Sonic the Werehog. He's a perfect representive of Sonic for Halloween promotions, events and specials.
• A VR browser version of Sonic Ghost Shooting. I just have my doubts I'll ever play this for real so a VR remake of it would be the next best thing.

But, if I could ask for just the one thing to have for a Sonic Halloween special, it would be a brand new Storybook game set in the world of classic monsters. I'm imagining this storybook world being a lot like 19th century Transylvania but with places like 1790 Sleepy Hollow and Yharnam. If I ever made such a game myself I would call it "Sonic and the Blood Moon". It could have themes of Halloween but could still be a kind of Sonic game that can be played all year round. (Though I would make the included Party Mode entirely Halloween based.)

A sequel to Sonic: Night of the Werehog  could be happened someday if they planned to release Sonic Unleashed Ultimate later.
The short movie could be used to promote the game.



Such missed opportunity indeed about comic ones.
I want a crossover between Sonic and House of the Dead or may be other dark games.
Of course it hasn't to be real.
Could be turned out just a dream by Knuckles or Shadow.



About the list that you made, the one I remember most is Sonic X one with Boo ghosts.
For me it's definitely the scariest among them all.

Horror Storybook about Sonic sounds nice too.
