It looks like the one I linked in July is the C64 release of the game, I may have goofed originally? Or maybe both version were hosted on the same page and this new one is just the two versions split to two separate pages? The page in the July post was updated along side the other link, and there's no archive of it, so I'm not sure... lol sorry

Ah, you're right.
They're from the same creator so I guess it's the same game, only separating the MD version to new page instead of still in C64 version page.
Sometimes it's confusing if many creators worked on same project like Black Tiger and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle arcade port.

Somali Pirates is a game for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, made by me at 4D Lix. Take a small motorboat out along the Kefa Coast, chase ships, take contracts, and try to bring your family home.

Mix boat chases with shootouts when you board a target. Back at port, repair and upgrade your boat, pick up supplies, and decide what risks are worth taking. The clock is always running.

Both ports come courtesy of Dreamcast porting genius jnmartin84, the same magician behind the Dreamcast ports of DOOM 64, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario 64. Sonic R has been cooking for quite some time, and jnmartin84 has been steadily releasing previews of the work in progress over the last few months, but now the final build is here...and it looks - quite frankly - stunning. I was never a huge fan of Sonic R back when it released on the Saturn, but having sampled this new PC-derived Dreamcast conversion I'm happy to report that it really pops visually on ...
