Overall I like the second one too.
But there's a feature from SOR III that I wish already implemented in SOR II :
special moves that didn't take away your energy and the use of 6 buttons gamepad.

That's true, but the music was definitely better in the second one. I also thought the third game was a little bit too similar to the second one, but that's just the opinion of someone who played SoR games in the 2010s.

I turned one year old in 1994, so I had to experience the games much later.

Agree, I though SOR3 musically and graphically worse than SOR2, but the special moves charging thing was gameplay changing.
You can always unleashed it anytime when it's ready without thinking about your health.

I'm just glad they are not making a Streets of Rage 4. It would be cool to see an HD version of the previous games though.

What I like about the first Mega Marble World back then is the manual book,
it contains all the password needed for every stages,
so I can start from any stage I want without writing the passwords every time I finished a level.
