Episode 12 STORY

Ojisan receives a request to defeat a "singing monster" and heads for the forest. He discovers a huge monster and attacks to defeat it, but it turns out to be Mabel, who lives a self-sufficient life in the forest.
The giant ice sculpture she had erected to keep people away and Mabel's singing voice had somehow become feared as a "singing monster.

Mabel was so pleased by the praise of her singing voice that she proposed to sing a song from Ojisan's home.
The delighted Ojisan teaches Mabel his favorite song.

Yes, there is Christmas chapter with Mabel in the manga.Uncle even gave Mabel a Santa-like outfit for her to use.I think Uncle gave Mabel more things than he did to Elf.Mabel even have two meteorites rings from him while Elf only got one .
(and that one ring was also broke during *spoiler*).

Well maybe next year we'll get this Christmas episode.
Though have to say, even if it was brief, Uncle resting his head while Dreams Dreams played with gentle snow around him did feel somewhat festive.

May be later after ep 13, the one who's willing to do the compiling is probably waiting until the anime ended.
Though I'm sure Mabel's singing Starlight Zone from ep 12 is the last one of the anime make a refference to Sonic for this season.

I noticed in the english subs they refer to the music from the game "Knights". Given the anime had legal permission and favour from Sega, couldn't they call it "NiGHTS?"

It's a mistake from the English Fan Sub, may be the one who did the sub wasn't familiar with the game.
The Indonesian and Spanish sub still mentioned it as Nights (not written as NiGHTS though).

Yeah, it's supposed to have season 2,3, etc if it will adapt all manga story,
but then again as I say before, it's struggling to even finish 1 season...

This was due to production problems which were disrupted again by the new corona virus pandemic in China.
If it goes according to schedule, the episode is scheduled to air on December 29.

"We’ve done some pretty big shows, but this was a level-up in certain respects. Our asset team had to be huge as the character count was super high, and there are five worlds being featured.
The animation team was also bigger than normal as we were really pushing the quality of animation. It also features huge character counts in the shots, with lots of fighting and battling so there was not shortage of work to do for the animation team! When you have such a large crew, you need a bigger production team as well to help keep it all organized and on track!"

Compare to Megaman Fully Charge, Sonic Prime is quite the leap in quality for WildBrains adaption of video games to cartoon.

Compare to Megaman Fully Charge, Sonic Prime is quite the leap in quality for WildBrains adaption of video games to cartoon.

Yeah, thankfully they know how big this project was and added more people into animation team ... unlike Isekai Ojisan whose ex director refuse to add more people.

I just hope Sega won't pull out support for this anime.

SEGA probably won't but Kadokawa could.
