Total mobile app downloads for SEGA CORPORATION was 9.4m, including 1.4m iOS app downloads and 8m Android app downloads.

According to the financial results, the Persona series sold approximately 980k units worldwide (including digital and physical sales) through October, November and December 2025. Last quarter, the series had sold 770k copies.

SEGA Sammy Reports ¥31.3 Billion Rovio Impairment Amid Sonic Challenges

In Q3 results for October-December 2025, SEGA saw sales rise 4% to ¥322.3 billion, but operating income slipped due to extraordinary losses like the Rovio impairment from tough user acquisition and weak Angry Birds 2 sales.
Sonic titles sold 4 million units year-to-date, down from prior year, with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds now on 40% discount and Sonic Rumble needing updates after missing targets. Looking to next fiscal year, SEGA plans four major releases from core IPs including Sonic, Yakuza, and Persona, plus projects like Crazy Taxi and a Sonic 4 movie.
